Introduction

There are so many experienced mountain bikers out there offering good advice on how to ride... I'm not them.

This blog is dedicated to the weekend mountain biker who, like me:

1. Wears baggy shorts with pockets that snag on each branch, eventually yanking the rider back like a stunman in a bad action movie.
2. Is too scared to "clip in" because dabs occur more than actual rideing.
3. Reads about mountain biking more than rides
4. Posts more than rides

The bug in my ear

My brother-in-law is biking in California and loves it. Therefore, I want to buy a bike right then. I have to wait for a month to pass to make sure it's something I want to really do.

It was a long wait.
